Service Saturday - Nov 5th - Rain or Shine!

We will be holding this event Rain or Shine this Saturday! This is a volunteer opportunity to help improve our local wildlife refuges. We welcome all volunteers who would like to spend a few hours on iprojects like trail clearing, sign replacements, boardwalk repairs, painting, grounds cleaning that will improve the refuge for public use.  We have an inside project in mind in case of Rain (updating hunting brochures). We are excited to offer this work day for those that may need service hours. Please come by for a few hours of light work projects and meet new friends. Any equipment or tools needed for the task will be provided as well as a light snack and water. Please come dress for outdoor work (long sleeves, closed toed shoes, etc).  In case of rain we will be inside for the three hours. 

This work day we will be improving the grounds and trails at the Bayou Gardens Campus of the Southeast Louisiana Refuges Headquarters. Everyone will meet in the parking lot at 8:00am. We will be working in the big Conservation Room at the Headquarters if it is raining. 

This is a great way to get outdoors and support our refuges!
